IPD announces equity purchase of City Liners Pty.

The recent share equity purchase of a portion of City Liners based in Chennai India by IPD is a continuation of the 6 year evolution of our relationship. The result is a brand new, state of the art Cylinder Liner manufacturing facility dedicated to IPD production. This new facility allows IPD to manufacture consistent quality cylinder liners that utilize the latest in manufacturing and honing designs. We feel it also compliments our other manufacturing operations and commitments around the world as well as our upgraded equipment purchase at our Torrance California facility highlighted in last months issue. We are very proud of our long relationship with City Liners and our continued hands-on involvement in state of the art manufacturing.

Bare Cylinder Head Castings from IPD for 3304 & 3306 Caterpillar®

New Piston developed for 3114 & 3116 Caterpillar® applications

A new one piece aluminum piston has been developed by IPD for this popular application to complement our extensive aluminum and IPDSteel™ Articulated Piston coverage. It is used in 3116 Truck applications 9YN, 9GK, 2FR, 9LN & 7HS. Use engine serial & arrangement to identify exact application or contact your IPD Customer Service Representative. This new piston is available bare or within a Piston Kit as noted below.
 
Exclusive IPD .50mm oversize version of this piston will be available later 2006. We do currently offer many popular Aluminum and IPDSteel™ Articulated pistons in both Standard bore and .50mm oversize reducing rebuild cost significantly!
