TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA, USA, January 19, 2009 – IPD LLC, a California USA based manufacturer of diesel and natural gas engine parts has recently completed additional ISO9001:2000 certification to include its Torrance, California piston manufacturing facility.

Richard Grishaber, IPD Vice President of Operations stated that “Since receiving our first ISO certification last year we have seen continuous improvement in our company. We felt combining all our ISO9001:2000 procedures throughout our system would add significant improvements to our processes, further assuring that our customers receive the quality products and services they expect from IPD.”

IPD has now completed additional ISO9001:2000 certification to include its Torrance, California piston manufacturing facility.

IPD received its first ISO9001:2000 ISO certification by Lloyd’s Register in 2007 and according to Grishaber “We have expanded the process now throughout our Torrance, California piston manufacturing facility. Next we are moving forward with plans to do the same in our Distribution system outside of our main facility. This includes three locations in the US, and ultimately our European and Australian distribution facilities. We have continued using Lloyd’s Register as we have found them to be, not only very structured, but also persistent in helping us improve our processes. Many companies have some form of ISO approval, but it is all what you make it to be. We have definitely used it as a means to improve our processes, overall quality and service to our customers.”
